Animal Lady

5 May 2017

On Wednesday 3rd May, Shenstone Lodge had an exciting visit from the Animal Man Company with a host of animals.  The visit was part of a range of activities for RSPCA week where children learnt about animals and how to take good care of them.  Those that were brave enough got to hold a tarantula, a boa constrictor, a corn snake, lizards and everyone’s favourite animal – a lovely honey bear called Esther.  Also there on the day was a beautiful owl, a tenrec (an African hedgehog) and a bearded dragon.

Many of the children (and adults!) overcame their fears whilst holding the animals which was wonderful to watch.  The children really loved the experience and we hope to see Laura and the animals again
