Today, the 21^st June 2018, Staff and students from The Brades Lodge have set off on the  ‘bike and hike’ fundraising event,  to raise money for 2 cancer charities.

The school hopes to raise in excess of £2,000 for both The Teenage Cancer Trust & Oddballs in support of Freddie-Lee who has recently been diagnosed with testicular cancer.

The group are set to undertake a 120 mile bike ride from The Brades Lodge to Snowdonia.  After a night spent under canvas they will be joined by other students and staff and will climb Snowdon. It is hoped that Freddie-Lee will  accompany the challenge, taking part wherever he feels able.

The school is being very generously supported in its challenge by bike company  ‘Specialized’ who have loaned 5 brand new, hybrid bikes and matching helmets to the school for the challenge.
