Day 3: To Fowey

 

The staff were woken at an unseemly time by one pirate who had woken up early, decided he wasn’t tired and got himself dressed without waking anyone else. Once the rest of crew had been woken we sat down to a hearty breakfast of fruits and cereal.

 

We cleaned the boat from  bow to stern,  it was then time to weigh anchor and off we went first past Devon port, then out in to the English Channel.

 

Soon it was 10:30 and time for second breakfast which was loving prepared by the pirate crew. As we sailed along we came up to the boat Moosk, another boat in the island trust fleet, greetings were you exchanged with our crew wanting their gold! After a while they disappeared to stern and we were left on a silky smooth sea, we occupied ourselves by doing jobs on the boat, playing uno, eating snacks and steering. 

 

We then felt it must be dinner time so we had tomato soup and sandwiches, washed down with orange squash. 

 

After 4 hours we arrived and docked in Fowey, unpacked the dinghy and went into Fowey, we walked the short distance to a small beach walking past Dawn Frenches house Lewis wished stop off for a cuppa, but unfortunately she was out…….

 

We played games on the beach, a quick stop for ice cream and hot chocolate before returning to the boat for tea, which was fajitas. A few fun games then off to bed.
